Peter Reed Bedlinens

Not all Cotton is the same and this is no more true that when using Egyptian Cotton. It is a well known fact in the bedding industry that Egypt does not produce enough cotton to make the luxury bed linen that is produced annually in the world. Some bedding manufacturers use 50% Egyptian Cotton and 50% cotton from another source, believe it or not this is legal. Many bedding sellers say that their cotton is produced entirely in Egypt and for many this is true but for others this is not true, Egyptian Cotton is expensive so if your new duvet covers or fitted sheet seemed like a bargain you can probably be rest assured that it is not 100% pure cotton grown in the Nile Delta region of Egypt.

Truly magnificent bedding is expensive but you can feel the quality difference when you get the chance to rest your head at night, Peter Reed Bedlinen use only the best long staple yarns from Egypt that can be traced back to its source, they select the best yarns and weave them to produce remarkable fabrics that are the cream of the crop. Their expertise has been crafted over the years using the traditional techniques that have been learned and honed over centuries in Lancashire. Using the old style craftsmanship and eye for detail, you will not find a finer example of pure luxury anywhere else. They produce a high grade cotton fabric and then weave a delicate Row Cord on to the bedlinen to produce timeless classics that can be found in the finest hotels, all of the Peter Reed Bedding Collections have the Royal Warrant of Approval from her Majesty the Queen.  Time and great effort has been spent on their bedding, all items are made to order and go through stringent quality assurance checks before leaving their Nelson factory in Lancashire.
